Sending and Order
It is the Orderer’s responsibility to keep up-to-date with all changes and conditions.
Details of your Order
The complete and correct name and address of the recipient are essential.
For offices, flats / units etc. include the name of the company and complex, floor and room number.
Orders that prove to be undeliverable because of incomplete or incorrect delivery addresses may be back charged. If you the sender is uncertain of the address or the delivery information provided is found to be insufficient, please re-confirm / verify your information before attempting to send and order.
Weddings
- Due to the nature of your personal requirements and budget, Forget Me Not Fine Flowers and Gifts of Distinction encourage that you call in to see us and discuss your requirements.
Hospital Orders
- Please obtain the recipient's full given name as well as ward number / name, the name and location of the hospital
- In the case that the intended recipient has been discharged by the time the order is delivered; try to ensure that you obtain the intended recipient's home address, particularly in the case of shorter stays and day surgery.
- Take care in establishing that the intended recipient is in an area within the hospital where flowers are permitted (in particular areas such as intensive care and other special units).
- It is advised not to send loose cut flowers or bunches (unless purchasing such flowers in conjunction with a vase) as usually there are limited suitable vases / receptacles available in hospitals.
Funeral Orders
- Name and address information is most essential for funeral orders. The full family name of the deceased.
- The name and address of the funeral home and the address and phone numbers of a relative of the deceased are needed.
- The date and time of the funeral are essential.
Important Note: The customer is requested to leave their name and telephone number on ordering in case a problem with delivery develops.
Definition of a Delivery and Difficulty in Delivering an Order
If you have specific instructions for the delivery of your gift bouquet, gift basket or boxed arrangement, please note them in the Delivery Instructions field on ordering. In all other cases, if the recipient is not at home when the neighborhood florist or their representative attempts a delivery, they will either:
- Leave the arrangement in a covered, secure area of the home (porch, garage, or other entrance)
- Leave the gift bouquet with a neighbor and place a message on the recipient's door with this information
- If delivery is made and courier can not gain access customers will be charged rate of courier to bring back the flowers at an agreed time
